A Real Boy!

Andy's been a real *baby*, but now he's a "real human" (as Keidi remarked when she saw him sitting in a dining chair, at the table.) He's becoming his own person... a real boy!

We've been reading to him, well, since he was "the peanut" inside my belly. Until last month, a book was just another chew toy. Now he does the cutest things with Pat the Bunny. He rubs his fingers over bunny's fur, he plays peek-a-boo with Paul, he puts his finger inside "Mummy's" ring. And he loves to "smell the flowers". Not just on the flower page. He shoves his nose into the center of each and every page, and sniffs and snorts. You could say that he's not following directions very well, but since the entire book smells faintly of lilac and baby powder, why not put his nose in each page? It is just so damn cute, I can't get over it.

Sadly, I go back to work on Monday. Just when my son is becoming a real boy...
